Empowering Students with Transformative Internship Experience

Shanaz Makrufa began her career as a Policy Analyst at the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, where she focused on critical issues surrounding energy, the environment, and research. Her involvement in the high-level policy-making process gave her a solid foundation in government affairs, and she later expanded her expertise by participating in various government projects, including those centered on food security. After moving to Bali, she discovered a deep passion for education, particularly in supporting the Local Scholarship Program, which provides Balinese children with access to environment-based education. This experience fueled her commitment to nurturing young talent and contributing to the island’s future.

Throughout her career, Shanaz has successfully managed several high-profile projects involving multiple stakeholders, including government ministries, Google, Johnson & Johnson, and other multinational corporations. Her work has spanned various sectors, including education, women’s entrepreneurship, and talent development. In 2023, she successfully led the ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum: Startup Connect, fostering collaboration between Southeast Asian startups and international corporations. Inspired by her passion for education and talent development, Shanaz founded Talent Bridge ID and now dedicates her efforts to supporting Balinese NGOs with their educational initiatives in remote areas of Bali.

Gabriella’s journey has been driven by a strong desire to make a meaningful impact. She spent two years as a Program Specialist, playing a key role in the development of a national youth movement focused on policy-driven change involving multipe stakeholder from private sector to public sector and government ministries with 2500+ youth participants across Indonesia. In 2023, Gabriella took on the role of Project Leader for the ASEAN+ Youth Summit, where she successfully led initiatives that brought together young leaders from across the region to address pressing issues and shape future policies. Her passion for education then led her to work with EdHeroes, an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing families around the world with access to quality education.

Currently, Gabriella leads the Communication and Marketing efforts at Untukmu.ai and ForU.AI, where she is involved in a global Web3 project focused on enhancing data privacy and security across Southeast Asia through Artificial Intelligence technology. Her diverse experiences and deep commitment to making a difference are what inspired the creation of Talent Bridge ID. The mission here is to create internships that truly connect education with practical, real-world experiences. Talent Bridge ID is more than just an internship agency; it’s a bridge to a brighter and more promising future.
